Opening Walking Tour — Shepparton Festival

The Opening Walking Tour was a curated, place-based experience created for the opening of Shepparton Festival, inviting audiences to encounter the festival through walking, conversation and shared attention to place. The tour guided participants through key sites in central Shepparton, connecting artworks, public spaces and local stories.

Designed as an accessible entry point to the festival, the walk encouraged people to slow down and experience the town as both setting and collaborator. Through movement and collective presence, the project foregrounded connection — between people, artworks and place — and set the tone for a festival grounded in generosity, curiosity and encounter.
